VectorWorks UK Architect Design Competition
Win a Mac or PC laptop worth £1600!

To celebrate the partnership between UK architects and VectorWorks, Nemetschek N.A. are pleased to announce their new VectorWorks UK Architect Design Competition, inviting all members of the UK VectorWorks community to submit entries which showcase their best completed projects and buildings.

Your chosen project may be a multi-million pound scheme or a private residential building. You may have used VectorWorks for its 3D BIM modelling and 2D drafting or you may have worked with its multi-user referencing and presentation capabilities… whatever you used VectorWorks for, we would like to see how VectorWorks’ flexibility contributed to your finished design.

The winning entry will be rewarded with a superb laptop worth £1600: a choice between the
Sony VAIO 12.1" 1.33GHz Intel Core ULV (PC option) or a MacBook Pro 15” 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (Mac option) and be announced at this year’s Annual VectorWorks Event (details below).

To enter, please complete an entry form and send us your entry on CD (as per the instructions below). Closing date for all entries is Friday 14th of September.

Instructions
•  Complete the entry form in full, including 100 words or less describing the project. This information will be reproduced exactly as submitted if you are selected as a winner
•  Send at least 1 high-resolution photographic image of your building and 3 supporting drawings of plans, sections and elevations - in .mcd or .pdf format – on CD to: Jacqui Smith, 3D Design, Computers Unlimited, The Technology Park, Colindeep Lane , London   NW9 6BX

Note:

•  By entering, all participants grant Nemetschek N.A. and Computers Unlimited worldwide publication rights to their submissions
•  The competition is open to all architects who use VectorWorks
•  Entry is free and every participant must register
•  Building works in progress will be accepted if supported by computer generated images
•  Digital images will be accepted if over 1500 x 900 pixels in size
•  All persons involved in the creation of the piece must be credited - Computers Unlimited is not responsible for incorrect, illegible or incomplete credit information

Location: London NW1
Time: From 13:00 to 16:30

Join us at our annual VectorWorks event at the Magic Circle, home to magic memorabilia, magic museums showcasing one of the largest magic collections in Europe and libraries that house thousands of magic books (and millions of magic secrets) about magicians, magic tricks and magic history.

Once again, key representatives from Nemetschek North America will be visiting the UK to share the latest news on VectorWorks and host ‘Meet the Engineers’ sessions, allowing you to have your say about what you need them to incorporate into future developments of the software. Plus, there will be presentations on UK architectural projects presented by the architects themselves.
